In accordance with the provisions of Article 69(1)(a) and (6) of the Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 and Article 42(3) of the Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the Department of Education has determined that, from 1 April 1994, the rates of salaries and allowances to be paid to teachers in grant-aided schools shall be those set out in the Appendix to this Circular.
